Welcome to our Surf Program
During the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games we were very privileged to show Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall our trademarked Sport2Clean ocean conservation program.
Students from Robina State High School presented an art work on bins initiative, sifting sand which identified micro plastics along with performing a surfing demonstration and discussions on how Sport2Clean is helping secure awareness for ocean health, and what we all need to do now to transition into a better circular economy.
To date Sport2Clean’s approach has been a huge success by generating much needed interest for the environment from our young people, who leave the program with a better understanding and connection within this natural environment through a sports context.
The Sport2Clean program is vital for students to share this experience and take action towards saving our oceans and marine life for their generation to enjoy. – Carl McCarthy founder Sport2Clean
